This is currently being worked on and will hopefully be in testing in the next few weeks.
This would be most excellent. It would be great if mousing over the note flag will bring up the comment. That way if there is a spike or a drop, we can also take a screen capture of the reason and share it with other non-SEO stakeholders like Web Producers or Product Managers, esp if they are the ones responsible for the sudden drop.

This is on our list to implement soon.
Definitely! We have so many different people editing our site, that if something gets changed that impacts our rankings, it can be quite some time before anyone notices.

This ticket has been left open as a reminder to ourselves to monitor our data reliability. As of today, we have gone several months without missing a day of ranking data. There have been a few delays in rolling that data out but it has usually hit everyone’s account within a day or two of the delay. These delays are to be expected given the fact that we’re now processing over 1 billion pages of SERPs per month and sometimes it can take extra time to process the data and make sure it is complete while also making upgrades to the system. Thank you for being patient with us as we have improved everything. We have also put several larger servers into place that are resulting in much faster performance. I agree. The ability to track multiple domains for the same keyword is a must have as it allow us to see how successful we are in penetrating a niche market at a glance. Market domination, baby....
